Raymond Simek

Raymond P. Simek, 61, of Bartlett, died unexpectedly Wednesday, July 21, 2021. Born May 14, 1960 in Berwyn. Raymond was an avid Cubs, Bears, Bulls and Blackhawks fan. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing and camping whenever he could. He will be missed by his family and friends. Beloved husband of Denise (nee Schweiger); loving dad of Valerie (fiancé Jason Dubois); cherished son of Ralph and the late Mary Simek; dear brother of Sandra (Michael) Koga and the late Marlene Saucier and John Simek and kind uncle of Brandy, James, Laura, Jonathan, Vanessa, Sarah, Sophia and Benjamin. Visitation 3:00 p.m. until time of service 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd (at Stearns Rd), Bartlett. Following services, cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory.
