Raymond G. Kohl, 80, of Elgin, IL passed away on September 9, 2025. Ray was born on March 22, 1945 in Bensenville, IL to his parents Thomas and Nina Kohl.

Ray was the beloved husband of 25 years to Pamela Kohl; loving father of Tracy (Kevin) Anderson, Andrea K. Kohl-Sciaccotta-Castle, and Raymond A. (Dawn Schmidt) Kohl, bonus dad of Karen (Sam Fernandez) Means and Kathy Monteleone; cherished grandpa of Jocelyn, Anthony, Lennon, Gavin, Ryan, John, Janine, Jennifer, Nico and Lorenzo and great-grandpa of Gianna. Ray was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Nina Kohl and his sisters Carol and Dolores.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025 from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Countryside Funeral Home, 1640 S. Greenmeadows Blvd. Streamwood, IL 60107. A private cremation will follow. For more information, please contact Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory, 630-289-8054.
