Ray Seidel

Ray Seidel, 85, of Hanover Park, passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2023. A retired 30 year Airline Pilot Captain at American Airlines, Ray was a long standing member for 48 years of the Hanover Park Lions Club. He was very active in the Village of Hanover Park as well as an avid Chicago sports fan. Beloved husband of the late Iva "Charlene" (nee Ward); loving father of Kathy (Jim) Weir and Ken (Julie); proud grandfather of Zachary and Anthony Seidel; dear brother of Ruthie Seidel, the late Jerry (the late Shirley) Seidel, and the late Tom (the late Diane) Seidel; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Monday, October 16 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 S. Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.), Streamwood/Schaumburg.
