Ramona Skurka

Ramona Karin Skurka (nee Goettmann), 59, of South Elgin, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, September 1, 2025. Ramona was a fitness fanatic who especially favored her Saturday kick boxing class. She enjoyed coffee with her friends, and particularly family vacations to Southwest Florida and Northern Wisconsin to Minocqua. Beloved wife of 30 years to Brian Charles; loving mother of Nicholas, Benjamin, and Matthew Skurka; cherished daughter of Heidi (nee Goettmann) Reese; dear daughter in law of Charles and Carolyn (nee Shackleford) Skurka; fond niece of the late Karin (Dan) Lannigan. Visitation Sunday, September 7 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.), Bartlett.
