Dr. Ramamurthy Nagubadi, of Chicago, Illinois passed away on Saturday
  
  November 8, 2014 at the age of 69. Dr. Nagubadi was born on March 15, 1945
  
  in Komarnenivari Palem, a coastal region farming village in Andhra Pradesh,
  
  India. His father Rangaiah had lived to the ripe old age of 100 and his
  
  mother Atchamma lived until 97 years old. Having inherited such strong
  
  genes, and having been in perfect health throughout his life, Dr. Nagubadi's
  
  passing came as a shock to all who knew him. Only one week prior, Dr.
  
  Nagubadi completed the Skyrise Chicago race, climbing up the steps of one of
  
  the world's tallest buildings, the Willis Tower (formerly Sears Tower) - 103
  
  flights in just 32 minutes.
  
  Dr. Nagubadi is survived by his loving wife of 45 years marriage,
  
  Arunakumari, his two sons, Narayana Swamy and Ravi Kiran, and five
  
  grandchildren who were the pride of his recent life - Navya (14), Declan
  
  (9), Sinéad (8), Sanjay (3), and Genevieve (1). He is also survived by his
  
  three brothers, Dr. Subbarao, Venkatarao, and Ramakrishna, and his three
  
  sisters, Venkayamma, Subbulu, and Seetharavamma. Dr. Nagubadi was an avid
  
  gardener, world traveler, and health-and-fitness enthusiast. He was
  
  well-known by all his friends as a universal brother who helped all those
  
  around him even before they approached him for it. He talked to every person
  
  he met and affected all with his contagious smile and laughter.
  
  The memorial service will take place on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at the
  
  Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd (at Stearns
  
  Rd), Bartlett, IL 60103. Visitation will begin at 1:00p.m. CST, with the
  
  service at 2:30p.m, finishing with cremation at 4:00p.m.
