Prayers for Ralph S. Peters of Schaumburg since 1961 will begin Wednesday 9:15a.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg to St. Marcelline Church. Mass 10:00a.m. Interment Acacia Park.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday 3:00 - 9:00p.m.
Born July 27, 1925 in Chicago, Ralph died Friday May 6, 2011.
He was a WWII veteran of the US Army, serving in the 10th Mountain Division Calvary. Ralph joined the Knights of Columbus St. Marcelline Council 7694 in Oct. 1982 and was also a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed cross-stitching and he and his wife Lillian enjoyed fishing and motor-coach traveling.
He is the beloved husband of over 50 years of the late Lillian nee Gundlach; loving brother of the late Julius, Jr., Estelle and Herbert and cherished uncle of many loving nieces and nephews. (630) 289-8054 or www.countrysidefuneralhomes.com.
