Ralph Pence

With his wife and family at his side has peacefully departed this life on June 2, 2015 at 79 years of age.
Born on February 27, 1936 in Hanna City, IL to Joseph and Francis Pence. Ralph served our country in the Army 1955-58 in Germany where he met the love of his life Marita (Maisch) Pence. They were joined in marriage September 21, 1957 in Germany where they began their 58 years of marriage, eleven children, thirty grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren.
Ralph worked in the construction trade his whole life. He loved working with his hands and had a passion for woodwork. Ralph was known by many as the “Oak Tree” for his strength and courage. He is and always will be the pillar of his family. He has inspired us all through a lifetime of lessons for which we are truly blessed to have shared with him. He will be deeply missed as his work here on earth is done. May he rest eternally in peace with our Heavenly Father and be welcomed home by his family that precedes him.
Preceded by his parents, siblings Evan, Dorothy, Norma, Delores, Joe, and Lenny, son Rick, and great granddaughter Josie.
So this is not Good Bye but So Long until we meet again Dad. Our love for you will be in our hearts forever.
