Ralph F. Kanak, 70, of Streamwood for 35+ years, died Tuesday, November 3, 2009. Born March 20, 1939 in Chicago. He was the son of Frank and Anna (nee Cermak). Ralph was employed by United Airlines for 32 years before retiring. He enjoyed traveling and working with his hands. Ralph especially enjoyed being with his family.
Survivors include wife of 49 + years Carolyn (nee Szyszka); children Mark (Melissa), Deborah (Ronald) French, Kenneth (Peggy) and Renee; grandchildren Jason, Michael, Arilyn, Christopher, Rebecca, Kevin, Katie, Megan and 2 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Dorothy Mysliwiec.
Visitation Friday from 3 – 9p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd, Streamwood. Funeral service Saturday 8:45a.m. going to St. John the Evangelist. Mass 9:30a.m. Interment St. Michael Cemetery, Palatine. Memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101 would be appreciated.
