"My heart is full of memories and with pride I speak your name. Though life goes on without you, it will never be the same." Mrs. Raj Bhatara was born on April 28, 1935. She was a darling daughter, wife, mother, mother in law, grandmother, and great grandmother. If we had to describe her life, it would be that she was loved from head to toe and lived life to the fullest. Although quiet by nature and shy by temperament, Raj Bhatara exuded the strength of a leader and was the fulcrum that kept the large Bhatara family together. After getting married, Raj Bhatara spent many years helping her husbands busy medical practice. She was a world traveler and visited many countries, and even went dog sledding during a trip to Alaska. She enjoyed travelling, whether it was by land, air, sea, RVs, or cruising. Unlike most other grandmothers, she was very active on social networks and was interested with the latest technologies. She had her own ipad, iphone and facebook account; she was even a avid texter!
She was a friend to everyone and mother to all. We will miss her ever smiling face. Even though she is not here today, her legacy will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. It is with great love we will cherish the memories we have with the incredible woman we all knew as Mrs. Raj Bhatara. Visitation will be Wednesday 10:00 am until the time of cremation noon at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. (630)289-7575.
