Rafal Kamysz

Rafal (Ralph, Ralphie) Grzegorz Kamysz, 40 years old, of Streamwood, IL., born in Poland, passed away suddenly on November 29th, 2019 while hiking on vacation in Guatemala. He is survived by his parents, Barbara and Marian Kamysz, brother Jerry Kamysz, sister Joanna Krause, his beloved 8 year old son Sebastian Kamysz, his partner Danielle Green, brother in-law Jason Krause, nieces; Emily and Elizabeth Krause, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends in the US and Poland. His true passion was traveling, as well as hiking, taking photos and videos of sites he’s visited, playing soccer and softball, going to music festivals, and taking his son on various adventures. He had a great sense of humor and a gentle way about him. He was an excellent son, brother, and father. He was truly loved by everyone who knew him.

Ralph was born on March 9, 1979 in Poland. He lived in Poland for ten years until his
family moved to the US in 1990. As a child, he enjoyed writing comics, playing soccer and spending time with family and friends.

He attended the University of Illinois at Chicago and graduated with a degree in Computer
Science. He worked at Schaumburg Lexus as a manager.

Ralph cherished his son dearly and spent every moment he had with him taking him on adventures and showing him the world.

Visitation Friday, December 6 from 3:00pm to 9:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 333 S. Roselle Rd.(1/2 mile south of Irving Park Rd.), Roselle. Funeral Saturday 10:00am prayers at the funeral home followed by his 11:00 am mass a St. Matthew Church 1005 E Schaumburg Rd, Schaumburg, IL 60194 Interment St. Michael the Archangel, 1185 W Algonquin Rd, Palatine, IL 60067.
