Prakash Kamdar

Prakash C. Kamdar, 66, of Wheaton, formerly of Taboria Tanzania, passed away peacefully, surrounded by those who loved him. His survived by his proud children Meha of Wheaton and Dev (Lindsay), grandson Owen, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. He as preceded in death by his wife and soulmate Kiran. Prakash was a valued employee of West Suburban Hospital, in the pharmacy department in Oak Park for 17 years. After Kiran passed away, Prakash took on both roles of being a mother and a father for his children. He brought his children from India to the United States to give them a chance at a better life. Prakash has instilled the values of being a good human being into both his son and daughter. He was a very humble, sincere, hard working man who made everyone he knew feel special. He will be missed by many people from all walks of life. His visitation will be Thursday (Jan. 17th) from 11:00 am until the time of his cremation 12:00 / noon at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. ( at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett.
