Phyllis Politowicz

Phyllis A. Politowicz (nee Wriston), 89, passed away suddenly on June 13, 2024. A Marine Veteran, Phyllis was a teacher for over 30 years and enjoyed being an actress in her retirement. She was an avid artist of acrylic painting, a published writer, and was known for her strength and determination. Beloved wife of the late Fred; loving mother of Philip (Katie), Arthur (Lynelle), and the late Stephen; proud grandmother of Alexander and Isabelle Politowicz, Devin (Heather) Weiland, and Grace, Spencer, and Ethan Politowicz; Phyllis was preceded in death by her sisters Beulah, Jean, and infant sister, Betty, and two brothers Robert and Paul; Phyllis is the fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Friday, June 21 from 11:00am until time of service 1:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.), Bartlett. Interment Mount Emblem Cemetery.
