Phyllis M. Bennett 88, of South Elgin for 35 years. Loving mother of Jefferson(Laura)Haag and Whitney(Larry)Jones. Proud grandmother of Lindsey Jones and Jacob Perger. Dear sister of Virginia(John)McCowan. Beloved daughter of the late Fredrick and Izhora Bennett. Phyllis was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution, The National Society of The Colonial Dames of America, and she was a amateur genealogist. She loved to volunteer at the Anderson Animal Shelter. Visitation will be on Wednesday January 26, 2011 from 10:00am until time of remembrance at 11:00am at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 95 S. Gilbert St. (at Middle St.) South Elgin.
