Memorial Service for Phyllis Elaine Anderson (nee Nuckols) will be held Saturday, February 28, 2026 2:00p.m. at Renovation Church 430 E Stearns Rd, Bartlett. Cremation was private at the Countryside Crematory. Phyllis was born on November 23, 1937 in Glasgow, Kentucky and passed away on February 3, 2026 in Elgin , Illinois. Phyllis and Luther came to Chicago, Illinois in 1965 then moved to Bellwood, Illinois in 1978. When Phyllis retired they moved to Elgin, Illinois in 2001. Phyllis enjoyed word search. She was a cafeteria worker at Loretta Hospital in Chicago for 36 years.
Phyllis is the beloved wife of the late Luther Dave Anderson; loving mother of Vicky (Perry) Savino; cherished grandmother of Jonathan; dear sister of Barbara (Joe) Svetich; fond aunt of Rodney (MaryAnn) Svetich and Laura (Raul) Rodric; fond great aunt of Daniel Svetich, Felicity Rodric and Lillian Rodric. She will be missed by many friends and extended family.
