Phone Bounsinh, 76, of Carpentersville. Beloved husband of PhengKhamla Viprakhon Bounsinh for 58 years; loving father of Paul Bounsinh, Lynn Bounsinh, Mickey Bounsinh, Sackpraseuth
Bounsinh, Phonepreseuth Bounsinh, Vila Miller, Karen Rominski, and Abby Mei; dear father in law of Walter Miller, Douglas Rominski and Lexy Bounsinh; wonderful grandfather of 20 grand children,
11 boys and 9 girls, and also 11 great grand children, 7 boys 4 girls. Phone was an educator until 1967. After 7 years of teaching,he changed his profession to become a police officer, serving his country of Laos
until 1980. He brought his family to the United States in Feb 1981. Here in the states, he learned to become a car mechanic and worked in this field until retirement. Phone loved our family gatherings. He was loved by many and was a great host. In his spare time, he enjoyed going to the casino to play his favorite game Baccarat. This was his happiness, other than spending his time with his precious grand daughter Avelyn Misha Mei. He was always there to brighten people’s lives. Phone will truly be missed by many. Funeral 1:00pm until time of cremation 4pm Saturday, May 26, 2018 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd (at Sterans Rd), Bartlett.
