Phoebe A. Samples, 83, died Saturday, May 19, 2018. Born March 22, 1935 in Sherwood, Tennessee. Phoebe was a sweet lady who loved BINGO, going to Las Vegas with her daughter and spending as much time with her family as possible. She will be missed. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Edward; loving mom of Joanne (Bob) Tomaszewski, Mary Holt, Janice Samples and the late Joseph “Little Joe”; cherished granny of Richard (Tina), Justin (Dawn), Regina (Anthony), Shannon (Jeremiah), Dalton (fiancé Kristina Carr) and the late Joshua; dear great granny of Sierra, Mason, Naomi, Anthony, MacKenzie, Ellana, Libby and great--great granny of Leo Wyatt Love. Memorial visitation 10:00a.m. until time of service 11:00a.m. Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 95 S Gilbert St (at State St), South Elgin. Cremation was private at the Countryside Crematory. Inurnment will be private at Lily Lake Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Heritage Manor, 355 Raymond St, Elgin, IL 60120 would be appreciated.
