Philip R. Ontiveros of Elk Grove Village. Beloved husband of Marilyn nee Schroeder; dear brother of Catherine, Daniel and the late Julie “Babe”, Richard and Roy; proud master of his puppies Babe and Julie.

Philip was a Vietnam Veteran who served as a medic and received a Purple Heart. He was ordained in 1993 as Deacon in the Archdiocese of Chicago serving St. Marcelline (Schaumburg) and St. Julian Eymard (Elk Grove Village). He was a 25 year veteran of UPS. He loved to garden, including his Koi pond, perennial and vegetable gardens, watercolor painting, road trips in his motor home and mostly his wife.

Visitation Monday, June 6, 2016 3:00pm-8:00pm at the Countryside Funeral Home 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Funeral Tuesday 9:00am to St. Marcelline Church. Mass 10:00am. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
