Philip P. Candella, 77, of Streamwood died March 8, 2021. Phil was the beloved husband of Barb; loving father of Philip (Pat), John (Marcia), Mike (April) and Barbara (Chris) Kaminski; proud grandfather of Rachel, Katherine, Sara, Christopher, Barbara and Joey; cherished great grandfather of Cecelia.

He became the go-to guy in HVAC and found a true passion in teaching and training. Phil was able to use his skills to build his own tools, he could fix anything, even having built an elevator in his home. He was very supportive of his children, he was as scout leader, very involved in his church and the community. Phil even knew how to ride a unicycle.

Memorial Mass Saturday, March 20, 10:00am at St. John the Evangelist Church 502 S. Park Blvd. Streamwood. Visitation Saturday, 1:00pm - 8:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Road) Streamwood/Schaumburg. In lieu of flowers donations to Alexian Brothers Hospice 901 Martha Street, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007 would be appreciated.
