Petra Hamilton, 63, of Elgin passed away Sunday, September 24, 2023. Born January 6, 1960 in Germany. Petra grew up in Dillenburg, Germany before moving to the United States. She enjoyed traveling all over with family and friends. She will be missed. Beloved mom of Liza (Leonardo) Beltran; loving Oma of Lorenzo; dear daughter of the late Karl and Lore Muller; cherished sister of Christian (Petra) Muller; loving aunt of Fee (Stefan) Mahrholdt; doting great aunt of Charlotte and Vincent Mahrholdt and fond owner of her dog Kylie. Memorial visitation 11:00am until 3:00pm on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 95 S Gilbert St (at State St), South Elgin. Cremation is private at the Countryside Crematory.
