Prayers for Peter F. Witek of Schaumburg since 1985 will begin Saturday 8:45a.m. at Countryside Funeral Home 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg to Church of the Holy Spirit. Mass 9:30a.m. Interment St. Adalbert.
Visitation will be held Friday 3:00 - 9:00p.m. at the funeral home.
Born Sept. 17, 1937 in Chicago, Peter died Thursday May 26, 2011.
A veteran in the US Army, Peter was involved in the Bay of Pigs and was an avid DePaul Blue Demons fan.
He is the beloved husband of almost 44 years of Arlene nee Dylla; cherished son of the late Peter and Lil; loving brother of Leon (Candace) and Elaine (Keith) Skinner; dear brother-in-law of Raymond (Mary) Dylla, Mary Ann Dylla and the late Dolores (Adolph) Gutierrez; proud uncle of many loving nieces and nephews.
