Peter K. Smorynski, 74, of Hanover Park, passed away Wednesday July 8. Beloved husband of Barbara(nee Walter); loving father of Michele Runyon, Kenneth(Paula), and Jeffrey(Rebecca); proud grandfather of Paige, Braelyn, Kyle, Andrew, and Kade; dear son of the late Peter and the late Harriet(nee Piwowarski); fond brother of Dorothy(the late Bernard) Santowski, Marguerite(the late Clarence) Misura, Lucille(the late Robert) Chlopek, Grace(Joseph) Brophy, Henry(Barbara), Daniel, and Patricia(Oleg) Buschnyj; fond brother in law of James (Susan) Walter and Thomas (Susan) Walter; dear to many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation Thursday July 16 from 3:00pm-8:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd.(at Barrington Rd.), Streamwood/Schaumburg. Family and friends will meet Friday at St. Ansgar Catholic Church 2040 Laurel Ave., Hanover Park Mass 10:30am. Interment St. Michael the Archangel.
