Peter J. Adamopoulos, 82, of North Riverside, passed away Saturday, September 13, 2025. A veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Vietnam and graduate of St. Patrick H.S. Chgo and DePaul Univ. Beloved son of the late John and Stephanie “Stella” Adamopoulos; Loving brother of Christine Wood and Georgia (Salvatore “Sam”) Lamonica and the late Richard (Lillian) Piwowarski. Cherished uncle of Michael Whitlock, Darlene Whitlock and Anthony Adamopoulos and cousin to many. Visitation Friday, September 26, 2025, from 3:00pm to 8:00pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 1640 S Greenmeadows Blvd, Streamwood. Funeral Saturday, 10:00am at the funeral home. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials to the American Heart Association, www.heart.org, or American Diabetes Association, www.diabetes.org, would be appreciated.
