Peggy Smith

May 26, 1959 — February 11, 2024

Peggy Irene Smith of Elgin, at the age of 64 died Sunday, February 11, 2024. Peggy was born in Maryland and enjoyed traveling, sight-seeing and seafood. She will be missed by her family and friends. Survivors include husband of almost 39 years Charles “Chuck” and children Ginny and C.J. She was preceded in death by her son Douglas, parents Wayne and Amy Meadows, brother Louis and sister Amy. Cremation was handled by the Countryside Crematory, South Elgin. Celebration of life scheduled for Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 2:00p.m.
