Paula Vachon

Paula Christine Vachon, 44, of Elgin, formerly of Schaumburg died October 8, 2013. Paula was the beloved daughter of Roger and Shirley (nee Dunaway); loving sister of Michelle, and Dianne (Thanin) Peechpand, proud aunt of Isaac, Kazuki, Brittany and Zoë. Many loving cousins, friends and relatives. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Paula was a devoted and faithful parishioner at St. John the Evangelist Church, and a member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary. She had an enthusiasm for life and a big heart which brought joy to her family and many friends.

Paula was employed at St. Alexius Medical Center, Hoffman Estates, for 17 years. Her smile will be missed by the staff and her co-workers .

Visitation Sunday, October 13, 3:00p.m. – 8:00p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 S. Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Road) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Funeral Monday 9:15a.m. to St. John the Evangelist Church Mass 10:00a.m. Interment St. Michael the Archangel.
