Paul Griffin

Paul W. Griffin, 65, of Elgin, died Tuesday, August 31, 2021. Born December 20, 1955 in New Albany, Indiana. Paul was an open road truck driver for 41 yrs. and was known as “Hammer Man”. It was because of this he was a wizard at directions and knew streets and roads in every state. It was no surprise that he loved country music, especially “On the Road Again”. Paul was an avid White Sox fan and loved riding Harley Davidsons. Music was also a passion of his playing guitars, drums, and a lot of instruments as if he played them forever. He will be missed by his family. Beloved husband of 41 years to Sylvia (nee Luna); loving dad of Paul and the late Myles; cherished son of the late Robert and Virginia Griffin and kind brother of Betty, Sharon and the late Barbara, Joyce, Jojo and Bobby. Cremation and services will be private at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, Bartlett, IL.
