Visitation for Paul William Bagley of Hanover Park since 1970 will be held Saturday February 18, 2012 12noon until time of service 1:00p.m. in Selmer, TN at Shakelford Funeral Home 160 West Cypress Ave. or www.shackelfordfuneraldirectors.com.
Interment will follow with military honors at Pebble Hill Cemetery in Michie, TN.
Born October 11, 1934 in Rome, GA, Paul died Tuesday February 14, 2012.
He graduated Rome High School in Georgia in 1953 with honors and also graduated Devry Electronic School in Chicago with honors. He is a veteran of the US Army, having served his country from 1957 - 1959. Paul spent his career working for the "Ma Bell" companies for over 27 years, mostly in Wheaton as a computer Engineer Technician. He is a member of Moose Lodge in Bensenville since 1988. His passions are his wife, his son, his friends and as an avid golfer, golf.
He is the beloved husband of over 50 years to Mary nee Wilds; loving father of Keith; baby of 9 of Mrs. Virginia Bagley nee Pitts; dear brother of Walter, Dot Turner, Beth Schultz, Flo Wessling, J.D., Joe and the late Nick and Bea. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and their families on both his and his wife's families.
