Visitation for Paul E. Ahlrich will be held Thursday 5:00 - 7:00p.m. at St. Paul Evangelical Church 118 S. 1st St. Bloomingdale 60108. Funeral Friday 10:00a.m. Interment St. Paul/Evergreen.
Paul, 83, passed away July 13, 2015. A Veteran of the US Army, he was the beloved husband of Esther nee Moritz (1953 - 2015); loving father of Susan (Jeff) Cook, Kimberly (Rich) Blair, Paul Allan (Beth) and Lisa; proud papa of Peter, Shea and Rich Blair, Mary Ohl, Pete and Christine Thomas, Brian, Meghan, Adam, Jarrod and Lauren Cook; very proud great grandfather of Blair Olivia Thomas.
Past Village President (1973) and Trustee of Bloomingdale (1965 - 1975). Paul ran his own Accounting practice from 1959-2015. An avid gardner, he enjoyed sharing his vegetables with friends and family and loved taking his family camping.
