Patrick Gannon

Patrick H. Gannon, 93, of Carol Stream, died Thursday, July 17, 2014 at home. Born March 20, 1921 in Fort Madison, Iowa. A veteran of the U.S Army. Patrick enjoyed reading the newspaper, good food, being with family and was an avid Cubs fan. Survivors include wife of over 40 years Marie (nee Schultz), children Robert (Diane), Patrick (Diane), Corinne (Ray) Flemm, Jackie (Rich) Schoenwolf, Diane Fromich, Jerry (Donna Ronczkowski) Smith, Patti (Nick) Kamenjarin and Lorri Brinegar; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; daughters-in-law Linda and Kathy Smith and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents James and Anna (nee O’Reilley), sisters Marie, Theresa, Corinne brother James and sons James and Mickey Smith. Visitation 10:00a.m. until time of service 12 noon Saturday, July 19, 2014 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd (at Stearns Rd), Bartlett. Following service cremation at Countryside Crematory. Inurnment Elmwood at later date.
