Patrick “Pat” T. Cooper, 76, of Elgin, died Wednesday, December 4, 2024. Born March 17, 1948, in Bensenville. Patrick was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He drove for UPS for 33 years, was handy with tools and enjoyed fishing. He will be missed dearly. Beloved husband of 22 years to Jeanne; loving dad of John (Kathy) and Kellie (Steven) and stepdad of Paul (Angela), Joseph (Jamie), Steven (Tracey) and Jacqueline; cherished grandpa of Zach, Joey Jr, Ryan, John, Joshua, Francesca, Maddie and Jackson; dear son of the late Harold and Doris Cooper; kind brother of Janis (James) and fond uncle of Elizabeth (Christopher); kind and doting owner of Chili. Visitation starts at 2:00pm until time of service at 7:00pm on Monday, December 9th at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory (950 South Bartlett Rd. Bartlett, IL). A private inurnment will be Tuesday at Fort Sheridan National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network ( www.bcan.org ) would be appreciated.
