Patricia (Pat) Jane Murphy passed away quietly at her home in Roselle, Illinois, where she had lived for 64 years.
Born on March 17, 1937 to Thomas and Catherine (Head) Bradley at Saint Ann’s hospital in Chicago Illinois. She grew up on the west side of Chicago /Oak Park with brothers Thomas( Betsy) Bradley, Edward(Mariane) Bradley. She attended Saint Catherine of Siena high school Oak Park, Illinois. Pat was married to the love of her life, William H Murphy Sr at ST.Mel’s Parish on October 19, 1957. They moved to Roselle Illinois in 1959 where they raised their six sons, William Jr.,Michael(Jane),Mark(Annette),Dan(Ellie), Matt(Denise),Chris (Robin) in the ST. Walters Parish of Roselle for the past 64 years.
She loved the Cubs and her Blackhawks. She was involved with the Roselle Recreation youth baseball, Lake Park Hockey club, Elmhurst Huskies Hockey, and the Garden club of Roselle.She loved spending time in her garden full of plants and flowers, and keeping her bird feeders full for her winged friends .
Pat was all about family and friends. She still met up with her high school girlfriends for luncheons periodically. Pat was always happiest when she was surrounded by her friends and family. Especially her grandchildren, Nikki, Kevin(Sonia), Shawn (Allison), Mickey(Jenna), Jason, Brad, Amanda(Tom)Maillette,Shannon(Jay) Zernitz , Tiffany(Justin)Pisellini , Mark(Alyna), Joey(Jennifer)Biundo, Anthony, Catherine, Danielle, Brooke, Colin, CJ, Brianna. And also her great grandchildren, Riley, Madison, Mikayla, Charlotte, Michael, Juliette, Tommy, Mila, Gio, Sonny, and two more arriving soon ,Sofia(Mark&Alyna),Sloane(Shawn&Allison). She had so many great memories with her brother and sister-in-law‘s, her many nieces and nephews. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Catherine Bradley, her husband of 48 years, William H Murphy Sr, brothers, Thomas Bradley and Edward Bradley.
Visitation Thursday March 9, 2023 from 3:00pm until 9:00pm at The Countryside Funeral Homes and Crematory. 333 South Roselle Rd., Roselle.
