Patricia Kippes

February 2, 1939 — April 5, 2020

Patricia Anne Kippes of Streamwood IL entered into Heaven on Sunday April 5th 2020, where she will again rejoin her beloved husband Peter.

Patricia was born on February 2nd 1939 in Chicago IL and brought 81 years of laughter and joy to those close to her.

Patricia is mourned by her children, Mary & Charles Martinez, Peter & Mary Ann Kippes, Paul & Casey Kippes, Michael & Debra Kippes and Peggy & Randy Nielsen her siblings Margaret Doyle of St Louis Mo, Frank & Esther Stacy of New Port Richie, FL, Bill Stacy of Holiday Fl, Tim & Carla Stacy of Elburn IL, her lifelong friends Virginia & Jack Brady of Cincinnati Oh, and her 13 loving grandchildren and dear nieces & nephews.

As a nurse for nearly 6 decades, Patricia’s calling was to attend to the sick. Throughout her lifetime, Patricia used her God given talents & skills to care for others. She was a committed servant to St. John’s Catholic Church where she was a minister of communion & delivered communion to the sick. She was president of the Ladies’ Auxiliary for the Knights of Columbus, she was the founder of the Nurses Ministry and a recipient of the Christifideles Award, which is given to parishioners who have demonstrated a lifetime of serving the Church and its community.

Patricia will be remembered for her kind smile, genuineness of character and dedication to others. She cherished spending time with her loved ones, especially at her treasured summer home in Lake Geneva WI, and will be missed deeply by those who knew her.

A Celebration of Patricia’s Life
Given the circumstances surrounding all of us in these unprecedented times, a traditional visitation & funeral is not possible at this moment.
