Patricia Huffman

Patricia F. Huffman (nee Mercer), 88, of Bartlett, IL, formerly of the west side of Chicago, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 12, 2015.
Patricia was the beloved mother of Mary Elisa (Thomas) Casey, William (Patricia Rush) Huffman and Maria P. Huffman; loving grandmother of Sarah, Patrick (Nichole), Elizabeth (Nate), Wil (Cara) and Lauren; proud great grandmother of Miranda, Liliana, Keira, Zoe, Evelyn, Elliot and Jude; cherished sister of Jean R. and Judith (William) McGrath (nee Mercer) and the late Walter T. Mercer Jr. (Jean).
Patricia was active with the St. Jude Society of Chicago Claretian Missionaries. Pat retired from General Motors after a 35 year long career. She was a long time member of St. Peter Damian and enjoyed cooking and gardening and storytelling. Patricia loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren, family was very important to her.
Memorial visitation for Patricia Saturday, March 28th 10:30 a.m. until the time of memorial Mass 11:30 a.m. at St. Peter Damian Church 109 South Crest Avenue, Bartlett. A private interment will be held at Queen of Heaven Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations to St. Charles Borromeo Parish, School Educational Fund, 288 E. Jefferson Avenue Hampshire 60140 would be appreciated.
