Patricia Ann Glascott (née Voss), 67, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2026.

Born in Geneva, Illinois, Patricia (Patty) was raised in Elgin. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Ann and Walter Voss, and her brother, Thomas Voss.

Patty shared 39 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Patrick Glascott. Together they built a loving home and raised four daughters: Valerie (Lance) Lagasse, Kelly Glascott, Erin (Mark) Abordo, and Danielle (Ryan) McFeron. She was a dedicated grandmother to Ryan and Troy Lagasse, Jaden Finch, and Connor, Claire, Quinn, and Austin McFeron. She is also survived by her sister, Sue (Steve) Heistand.

Patty was a devoted stay-at-home mother for 14 years before serving the Hanover Township community as Deputy Assessor for more than 20 years.

Patty found joy in caring for others and in the simple things that made life beautiful. She loved creating stained glass, crocheting, sewing, reading, tending her garden, and baking cookies with her grandchildren. She had a special gift for making everyone feel at home and was the person family and friends turned to when they needed to know how to fix something, solve a problem, or simply be heard. Ordinary moments felt warm and comforting in Patty's presence. She found beauty in the flowers she lovingly tended each summer and in the time spent with the people she loved.

More than anything, Patty loved being "Grandma." She never missed a concert, school event, or special milestone, and she made every holiday feel magical through the traditions she created for her family. Her love, kindness, and unwavering presence will be remembered by all who knew her.

After being diagnosed with glioblastoma, Patty faced a difficult and unexpectedly short journey with remarkable courage and strength. Though her time following her diagnosis was brief, she fought bravely every step of the way, meeting each challenge with grace, determination, and the same love and compassion she showed throughout her life.

Patty's legacy lives on in the family she cherished and the countless memories she created. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
