Patricia Ann Egan

Patricia Ann Egan, nee Burke, born on October 29, 1939, in Chicago, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 14, 2025, at her residence in South Elgin, IL. She was 86 years old.

Patricia dedicated her career to accounting, where her meticulous nature and dedication left a lasting impact on those she worked with. Beyond her professional life, Patricia was a vibrant soul with a multitude of passions; she found joy in gardening, excitement in gambling, contentment in a good glass of wine, and solace in her daily coffee and walking. Her true happiness, however, lay in the cherished moments spent with her family.  

Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas Egan, and cherished parents, Michael and Mary Burke. She is survived by her children: the late Tom Jr. (Chris) Egan, Chris (Tom) Sendzik, and Lynda (Roger) Kotalik. Patricia was a proud Nanny to her grandchildren: Justin, Jamie, Jon, and Jessica Egan; Angela, Frank, and Kaitlyn Sendzik; and Megan and Kevin Kotalik. Her legacy continues through her 17 great-grandchildren.  

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the visitation, which will be held at Countryside Funeral Home, 950 S. Bartlett Rd. Bartlett, IL, on Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and again on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 9:00 am until time of funeral service at 9:30 am. Patricia will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew her. Her family takes comfort in knowing she is reunited with her loved ones and will forever be in their hearts.
