Patricia A. Choate, age 66, a resident of Streamwood since 1964, died Saturday, November 29, 2008. Born March 9, 1942 in Chicago, she was the daughter of Oliver and Lillian, nee Kielbasa, DeCamp.
Patricia enjoyed crocheting, cross stitching, fishing and traveling. She especially enjoyed being with her family.
Survivors include husband Calvin Choate of Streamwood; children Sandy Choate of Streamwood, Jim (Jamie) Choate of Carol Stream and Joe (Shari) Choate of Elgin; grandchildren Andy, Matt, Joe, Jimmy, Jakob and Margaret; sisters Cynthia (Alan) Behnke of Streamwood and Nancy (Ted) Jozwiak of North Carolina; and special friends Issy, Lilly, Bidda, Cookie and Kaylee.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation Friday from 3 – 9 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Rd), Streamwood. Service Saturday 11 a.m. Following the services cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gilda’s Club Worldwide, 322 Eighth Ave, Ste 1402, New York, NY 10001.
