Pamela J. Turnes, 70, passed away unexpectedly April 25, 2022 at the Bella Terra Rehabilitation Center in Streamwood, IL. Pam was born Tuesday June 26, 1951 to Edward and Harriett (Calbeck) Rausch. Upon graduating highschool in 1969, she continued on to the University of Chicago, also known as Circle Campus, where she later on met John Turnes through a mutual friend. Married March 26, 1971, their son Mark Turnes was born March 29, 1972. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by John who passed in 2002. Pamela is survived by her partner of two decades, Patrick Goedtke, as well as her son Mark Turnes, her three grandchildren: Jessikah, Taylor and Marky Turnes and their mother Melissa Brooks. Pamela spent a lot of years involved in Mark’s youthly activities; chaperoning field trips, became a lunch/playground mom, a den mother and even participated with other moms on a bowling team. She ran an at-home daycare center before going to work at Madigans and EKD, working in payroll and merchandise accounting. Pamela was also a minister of communion at St. Cyprian Church and a CCD Volunteer. She was a lifelong White Sox fan, very proud to be Irish, but she was also a devoted wife, mother, and a very loving grandmother
