Norval Blankenberg

March 2, 1935 — April 1, 2024

Norval L. Blankenberg, 89, died April 1, 2024. Norval was the loving father of Bob, Sue and the late Peter; proud grandfather of Michael, Alec, Jackeline, Elisha, Chris, Zack, Lexi, John, Abbie and Elizabeth; dear great grandfather of Scarlett, C.J, Jaxten, Maya, Axel and Kennedy; fond brother of the late Jerry (the late Carol). Norval will be missed by the love of his life Carol. He will also be remembered by many loving nieces and nephews.

Norval was a Korean War Army veteran. He enjoyed playing pool at the Senior Center, bible study, choir, and crossword puzzles. He played basketball for Jefferson Park Church and loved watching sports.

Visitation Monday April 8, 4:00pm - 8:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home 1640 S. Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Road) Streamwood. Funeral Tuesday 12Noon. Interment Mt. Emblem Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the family would be appreciated.
