Norrine Sampogna

Norrine A. Sampogna (nee Snell), 99, beloved wife of the late George A. Sr., passed away on November 9, 2021. A long time Chicagoan, Schaumburg was her home for the past 30 years. She loved her family and enjoyed her long employment at Jewel Foods and travelling the United States. She was preceded in death by her parents Hugh and Mary Snell (nee Collins) and siblings Marie, Thomas, Elizabeth, Hugh, Katherine, Raymond, Robert, Mary Margaret, William, John, and Theresa. Norrine met George while he was in the Army at a social dance at Camp Grant in Illinois during WWII. He passed away in 1993. She is the loving mother of George A. Jr., Thomas P. (Susan), and Phillip J. (Cathie); fond grandmother of George III (Giannina), Lauren, John, Michael, Molly, Katie Marie, and Mary Angela; proud great grandmother of Colette and Aiden. Visitation Monday, November 15 from 10:00 AM until time of service 12 Noon at Countryside Funeral Home 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.), Bartlett. Entombment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
