Norman Fiorino, 88, of Bartlett, died Sunday, May 2, 2010 at his home.
Born September 18, 1921 in Chicago. He was the son of Vincent and Ellen (nee Olsen).
A veteran of WWII, Norman served in the U.S. Army having proudly fought at Normandy and at the Battle of the Bulge.
Survivors include wife of 68 years Helen (nee Ferster); sons Mark and Paul and daughter Monica; grandchildren Megan (Allan) Davis and Shelly (Mike) Ross; great grandchildren Ryley, Raegyn and Maliyah; sister-in-law Mary; brother-in-law Arnie (Pam) Olson; nephew Kyle and many other nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Bill and sister-in-law Gladys Olson and nephew Brian Olson.
Memorial visitation Thursday from 3p.m.until time of memorial service 6p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd (at Stearns Rd), Bartlett. Cremation private. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice 220 N. Smith St, Suite 420, Palatine, IL 60067 or favorite animal charity.
