Funeral services for Norma Lauterburg nee Knapton of Streamwood since 1987 will be held Saturday 11:00a.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Interment St. John Cemetery in Arlington Heights.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday 3:00 - 9:00p.m.
Born April 23, 1930 in Sheffield, England, Norma died Tuesday Jan. 4, 2011.
She was employed by Jewel Food Stores for 20 years, starting in Arlington Heights and later working at the deli counter in Streamwood. During that time she also worked at Earthen Vessel Christian Bookstore in Arlington Heights.
Norma is the beloved wife of the late Iwan Dydyna and the late Thomas William Lauterburg; loving mother of Stephen (Nichola) Dydyna of Stelle, Paul Dydyna of Streamwood and the late Marie (John) LoVan; proud grandmother of Ian; dear sister of William and Walter Knapton and Beatrice Sargeant; many loving nieces and nephews.
