Nick Masino, 94, of St. Charles, died Monday, August 02, 2010 at his home. Born April 4, 1914 in Chicago. He was the son of Angelo and Martha (nee Anzelone). A veteran of the U.S. Army, Nick served during WWII in the Pacific Theater. Nick loved good foods and had a great compassion for animals. Nick especially enjoyed being with his family.
Survivors include daughter Nikki (Steve) Ihnatiuk and grandchildren Nicholas (Shannan) and Kristen (Jason White) Ihnatiuk.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years Elanor (nee Berg), son Wayne Koepple and sister Rose Newton.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 4, 2010 from 4 – 9p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, Roselle. Funeral 10 a.m. Thursday, August 5, 2010 at the funeral home. Interment Mt. Emblem Cemetery.
