Nicholas Spero

Nicholas "Nick" I. Spero, of Elgin, 43, passed away unexpectedly Saturday March 10 th. Nick was the loving father of Nicholas Quentin Spero and Corina Marie Sommer; devoted grandpa of Aiden Wesley Sommer; cherished son of Sam and Mona, nee Krohn; dear brother of Nancy (Bill) Arnold and the late John; fiance of Nancy Saleh. Nick was just beginning to find his spot in life. He was getting his life straightened out and he was happy. He was often heard saying his best friend was his son, Nick. He found a job in sales at Amperage Electric in Roselle that he liked and was good at. He played football while attending Glenbard West High School ( class of 1993 ). He had a very, very high IQ which allowed him to be knowledgeable on countless subjects. He had his own web cast, he was a computer buff and he could be opinionated when he felt strongly about a subject. He was a natural at relating to his grandson Aiden in a special way. Visitation Saturday, March 17th, 2:00 pm until the time of his service 6:00 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett, Il. 60103. Cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory following services. In lieu of flowers donations to the family would be appreciated.
