Nicholas Krizan

Nicholas "Nick" Krizan, 35, of Des Plaines, died suddenly Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at home. Born December 9, 1978, Nick enjoyed history, movies and playing his guitar. Nick was a prolific reader with a wide range of interests. He had a powerful intellect which fueled his curiosity. He will be missed deeply by his family. Survivors include Mom Susan (nee Barker); Dad Kelly (Cynthia); sister Jennifer (Steven) Reale; nephew Colin; grandma Alberta (the late Tony) Barker; girlfriend Carrie Lewey and several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Visitation 3:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. Monday, March 31, 2014 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd (at Stearns Rd), Bartlett. Following services, cremation will be at the Countryside Crematory. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Mental Health America of Illinois, www.mhai.org, would be appreciated.
