Nello Lucchesi

Nello Joseph Lucchesi, 83 passed away peacefully Thursday, November 24. Nello was born in Chicago on July 21, 1934 to Nello and Anna(nee Bellizia) Lucchesi. Nello enjoyed gardening. He was especially proud of his lawn and growing tomatoes. He loved vacationing with his grandchildren and his deepest pleasure came from spending time with family. He had the biggest heart and gave the warmest hugs. Beloved husband of Patricia(nee Baier); loving father of Juanita(Ralph) Torronio, Nello(Debra) Lucchesi, Jerrold(Sarah) Lucchesi, and Jeannine(Rick) Panunzio; adoring Papa of Brett(Josette) Hickey, Heather Hickey, Nello Lucchesi, Jeana(Sean) Moore, and Jennifer(Zack) Dyon; doting Big Papa of Addison, Corey, Carson, Garett, Jameson, and baby Hickey #3 in January 2018; fond brother of Claude(Ruth) Lucchesi. Visitation Tuesday, November 28 from 3:00pm to 8:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd.(at Stearns Rd.), Bartlett. Funeral Wednesday 9:45am to St. Walter Church.
