Nancy Lahl

Nancy L. Lahl, 77, of Streamwood for 55 years, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2025. Born February 7, 1948, in Chicago. Nancy taught preschool for the Streamwood Park District for 16 years followed by a career at Jewel Floral for another 16 years. She was known for being sweet, kind, funny and a little stubborn and strong willed at times. She was a great cook who enjoyed entertaining and knew all things Titanic. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and local squirrels. Beloved wife of the late Dale; loving Mom of Tim and Tracy (fiancé Ryan Kowalski) and the late Todd Lahl; cherished daughter of the late Henry and Veronica Sobotka; dear sister of Geraldine (the late Art) Lahl, the late Kathie (Art) Zoellick, and Henry (Maureen) Sobotka and wonderful Aunt of Tina, David, Dan, Scott, Megan, Kelsey, Tommy and Kenny. Visitation 3:00pm to 8:00pm Thursday, May 22, 2025, at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 1640 S Greenmeadows Blvd, Streamwood. Funeral Friday 10:00am at the funeral home. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery
