Nancy Kurotsuchi

Nancy Akiko Kurotsuchi (nee Ishikawa), 90, died October 16, 2021. She was a long time resident of the Oaks at Bartlett and former long time resident of Elmhurst. Nancy was the beloved wife of Roy Kurotsuchi; loving mother of Susan, James and Karen (Daniel) Inkelas; proud grandmother of Sonya Inkelas; cherished daughter of the late Rev. Kiyoshi and Tomoye Ishikawa; dear sister of the late Isamu "Samuel" Ishikawa.

Nancy was a member of the League of Women Voters. She loved travelling the world, attending the theater, and all breeds of dogs. She was an elementary school teacher in Decatur and Chicago. Nancy served as a volunteer tutor in Bensenville.

Visitation Tuesday November 2, 6:00pm - 8:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home 950 South Bartlett Road (at Stearns Road) Bartlett. Funeral private. Inurnment Montrose Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Association www.alz.org would be appreciated.
