Moises Delgado, 83, of Elk Grove Village, died peacefully with his family on Christmas Day. A nature lover who loved gardening, planting, and watching them grow, he was a notorious handyman always willing to help his family and friends. Above all a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. The patriarch of his family, he was a true salt of the earth man. Beloved husband for 55 years of Eva(nee Medina); loving father of Maria(David) Yurevich, Moises(Denise), Sergio, Martha Fetterhoff, and Miriam Delgado; son of the late Marcial and Maria(nee Mendoza); fond brother of the late Marcial(Francisca), the late Robert(Juana Maria), Hector(Bertha), the late Avelino(Carolina), Antonio(Refujio), Alicia and Amalia Delgado; proud grandfather of David, Jr., Jaclyn, Alyssa, Antonio, Michael Ray, Zachery, Michael Antonio, Ashley, Alec, Dylan, and Ava. Visitation Monday December 29 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 333 S. Roselle Rd.(1/2 mile south of Irving Park Rd.), Roselle.
