Mitchell Scott Enderle, 65, of Streamwood, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday, June 11th, 2024, from a hard-fought battle with esophageal cancer. He was born on October 12, 1958, in Corning, New York to Joseph Enderle and Marlene Brown. He enjoyed his upbringing in the rural outdoors and small towns on the New York/Pennsylvania border, riding, racing, and customizing bikes, swimming in bodies of water with varying danger levels, and camping in the Appalachian Mountains. A music lover from a young age, he progressed from buying sugary pop 45s at the department store to learning guitar by playing along with Rolling Stones records, eventually becoming a respected experimental musician. He played many shows during his life, released numerous records, and featured on compilations from around the world. He loved educating others about the history of 20th-century art and film, and he fostered a strong sense of humor in his children through frequent viewings of Monty Python. He will be deeply missed and is survived by his wife Anna, his children Sara, Nicholas, and Shannon, his granddaughter Sophia, and his beloved cat Little Mister. Visitation on Tuesday, June 25, from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 S. Greenmeadows Blvd(at Barrington Rd.), Streamwood/Schaumburg. He will be interred at the Evergreen Cemetery 610 S Dundee Ave, Barrington, IL 60010, block 33, plot 23E.
