Miles J Jurceka, age 90, of Bartlett, IL. Beloved husband of Lois (nee McCorquodale) Jurceka. Loving father to Nancy (George) McGrath, Diane Jurceka, Joyce (Andrew) Hogue, and step-father to Linda Minor, Cheri (Mark) Hamilton, and Dean Slagle. Proud grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle of many. Dear brother of Joseph (Vera) Jurceka. He was preceded in death by his first wife Phyllis (nee Seliskar) Jurceka; a son and his wife Tom and Sue (nee Zielinski) Jurceka; his parents Frank and Barbara (nee Pecha) Jurceka; his brother and his wife Jerry and Florence (nee Toman) Jurceka.
He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. 30 year employee of Spraying Systems Co. Carol Stream, IL. Miles loved to vacation at the family cottage where he fished and hunted with family and friends. He enjoyed golfing, singing in a barbershop quartet and reading. He was the editor of the Spraying Systems newsletter, Spray Scripts for many years. Finding and restoring antique wooden furniture was another hobby he pursued.
He will be laid to rest with military graveside rites in a private ceremony at Holy Family Catholic Cemetery in Willard, Wisconsin.
