Mile Savanović

Mile Savanović, 76, of Schaumburg, passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 4, 2025. Mile was devoted to his family and grandkids, whom he loved dearly. A nature lover and music enthusiast, Mile enjoyed drawing and watching and playing sports, especially soccer, with his grandkids. Beloved husband of 45 years to Mirjana (nee Mlakić); loving father of Srdjan (Emily) and Boris (Rebecca) Savanović; proud Deda of Griffin, Neven, Alexandra, and Thomas; dear brother of Momče (Joja) Savanović and Djuja (Jovan) Vuković; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Mile was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and one brother. Visitation Sunday, June 8, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 333 S. Roselle Rd. (1/2 mile south of Irving Park Rd.), Roselle. Funeral services and burial at St. Paul Evergreen Cemetery will be private.
